Warranty Policy and Conditions

Home Theater Concepts expects that you will enjoy your electronic entertainment for many years, trouble-free. In real life, however, things break. How your dealer responds and supports you can turn any such occurrence into a mere annoyance or major dissatisfaction. We have always accepted the responsibility that comes with long-term client relationships. We now believe we should state our policy in a more formal way to allow potential clients to see why we are the most respected company in our field. Our Service and Support policy is quite simple:

AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE, WE WILL GUARANTEE ALL PRODUCTS PURCHASED AND INSTALLED BY US UP TO A TEN YEAR PERIOD. THIS INCLUDES ALL PARTS AND LABOR, INCLUDING TRIP CHARGES.

Exceptions

  • Products subject to misuse and abuse.
  • Normal wear items, such as projection lamps and filters.
  • Products purchased and/or installed by others.
  • Products removed from our original configuration.
  • Products operated beyond or differing from their original intent and design.
  • Products modified or re-programmed by others.
  • Products repaired or serviced by others.
  • Programming necessitated by actions of others. For example, should your cable or satellite company designate new channels which require a re-write of your controllers or control system, this will incur programming charges for which you will be responsible.
  • Replacement of products necessitated by actions of you or others. For example, if the original system was designed with satellite, and you now wish to change over to cable, this will incur service and programming charges.
  • Addition of products not originally desired. Adding a DVD-Recorder (for example) will require a service and programming charge.
  • Should parts or service for a defective component be unavailable, we will replace the unit at no charge to you. We reserve discretion as to exact item replaced. We promise to provide a product with the same or better functionality and performance. The warranty for such items shall be the balance of our "Ten Year Guarantee" for the entire system, or the manufacturer’s new product warranty, whichever is longer.
  • Custom cabinet work necessary due to the replacement of components will be the client’s responsibility.
  • Your account must be in good standing, with all balances paid in full.
  • Your "Ten Year" period will begin on your date of last invoice.
  • Prior Systems and sales are not included.
  • This warranty is only valid for the original owner, at its original installation address, and is not transferable to a second homeowner or second location.
  • This shall pertain to residential systems only and excludes all commercial, industrial, and business systems.

Qualifications

To qualify for this coverage, we require a minimum system, which must include the following:

  • A High Definition Display
  • A Multi-Channel Audio System, including Amplifier/Receiver, Source unit(s) and a minimum of (5) speakers and a subwoofer
  • A control system of some sort, e.g. Crestron Touch-Screen Remote or Multi-Room operational system, or a stand-alone programmable remote we have supplied and programmed.
  • The minimum System Value to obtain this coverage shall be $100,000.00. All invoices within a 90 Day period may be totaled to achieve this level.
  • Systems Valued at a minimum of $50,000 shall receive coverage of 5 Years, with terms as above.
  • All components must be located at the same address and be owned by the same client.
